THE QUIET ONES CD RELEASE SHOW. DON'T TRY CALLING, IT'LL BE OFF THE HOOK.

Anyone and everyone within driving and flying distance should come to the Quiet Ones CD release show on Friday, November 19th at Lamar's on MLK. We will be releasing TWO ALBUMS AT ONCE!!!!!! There is no excuse for the blogging community not to support this one. CD's will be only five dollars and admission will be five dollars. Other bands include: El Toro De Blanco, Gold, and Jairus (Hopefully). THat's a lot of music for a little money. For 15 dollars (the price of a new CD) you can see a show, and get two new CD's. I have to go teach now. Speaking of music, Meg, how was Lucero?

I find it interesting that Nov. 3 was the biggest day that this blog has had with 95 returning visitors, 57 first time visitors, and 600 page loads. The past few days have been much less busy. There is a link on michaeltotten.com to a powerful video called Submission. It is a short film on women in Islam. It is also a bit disturbing for those who are very sensative, including me. I don't want anyone to watch it thinking "this is why christianity is better" as I found myself tempted to do. But it is just really interesting. It was filmed by Dutch filmaker Theo Van Gogh right before he was stabbed in the chest in the middle of a crowded Amsterdam street by Islamic extremist. Everybody should watch it. It may be a little biased against Islam but it is still very powerful for how short and low budget it is.

this blog thing is a great distraction. Benny H. I will come to your house with lots of venison at some point. I apologize for being outta town ever since i can remember.

everyone who blogs should play dodgeball with eachother sooner rather than later. if Ben and I scored the quiet ones a gig down here at the 40watt or tasty world, all you bloggers better show up to support. perhaps a preshow dodgeball match would be appropriate.
