The historic Seattle rock venue the Crocodile shut its doors over the weekend. You can read about it here.
Apparently it was unannounced and not even the employees were given notice.
I had some good times there. Our first show in Seattle was there. I saw some great shows there. We welcomed Ryan Dixon back into the band for one evening there. I got to sing my favorite Blitzen Trapper song with Blitzen Trapper there.
The staff was always really nice to us and some of our closest friends have at one time worked there.
There is a lot of history there and so many northwestern albums that are cool were released there.
We hope that it gets bought and reopened just the way it was.
