As I watched this video of an Iowan Senator on the floor, I couldn't agree with his daughter more. I can't think of anyone I know under the age of 35 who is offended by gay marriage. Even my friends who voted for McCain don't understand how it would change their own lives in the smallest way. This includes atheists, Christians, southerners, northwesterners, and more.
As the right wing grips even harder to their semantics, their message becomes more convoluted and ineffective. And as more 17 year olds turn 18 this fight becomes less of a competition.
